As part of QUAY’s strategy to reintroduce prescription eyewear as a design-forward, accessible fashion category, this second optical campaign explored the soulful connection between FORM AND FREEDOM.

Set against the sun-washed walls of Luis Barragán’s iconic stables in Mexico City, the campaign drew inspiration from his distinctive use of color, geometry, texture, and natural light. Minimal yet luxurious, the visual world was grounded in color, texture, and spirit, celebrating the balance between architectural precision and individual expression.

THE VISUALS

The photography embraced pairing sculptural compositions and graphic framing with movement, warmth, and personality.

Saturated walls, tactile surfaces, and dramatic shadows became natural extensions of the product design.

Architectural lines echoed the silhouettes of the frames, while intimate details highlighted their proportions, finishes, and craftsmanship.

THE NUMBERS

With most frames priced under $100 and an expanded wholesale presence, QUAY brought elevated design to a wider audience.

The optical division experienced 105% year-over-year growth in its first year back in the market, reinforcing the power of distinctive product design, accessibility, and compelling brand storytelling.
